The Aviation Center offers Flight Training. All of the FAC's courses are approved by UAE,
GCAA, and upon successful completion, result in the issue of a UAE licenses. The UAE is
a member of ICAO. Licenses issued by the UAE are convertible to the licenses of other
ICAO states, subject to their Civil Aviation Regulations.

Private Pilot - Aeroplane
|
|
The Private Pilot License (PPL) course consists of a minimum of 35 hours of ground training
and a minimum of 40 hours of flight training. An average student takes about 47 to 50 hours
of flight training. Out of the required minimum of 40 hours, the student must have completed
at least :-
1) 20 hours of dual training
2) 10 hours of solo including 5 hours of navigation
3) 3 hours of dual night flying
4) 2 hours of dual simulated instrument flying training
A test preparation course of a few hours is available for those who have more than 20
hours of previous training at an approved school.

Commercial Pilot - Aeroplane
|
|
Completion of a Commercial Pilot's License (CPL) requires total of 200 hours of aero plane
flight time :-
1) 100 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC)
2) 20 hours of cross country flight time as PIC including a cross-country flight of not less
than 300 N.M. during which a full stop landing at two different airports must
be made.
3) 10 hours of instrument training
4) 5 hours of night flying
5) 50 hours of ground school

Instrument Rating - Aeroplane
|
|
An instrument rating requires :-
1) A PPL or CPL, and at least a second-class medical certificate.
2) Total of at least 125 hours of flight time, of which 50 hours are as PIC in cross-country
flight with other than a student pilot license.
3) 35 hours flight training under a hood or actual instrument meteorological conditions
4) 30 hours of ground school

2) 2xCessna 172P Single Engine for Flight Training
3) 1xPA34-200T Multi Engine Aircraft for Advanced Training.
All Aircrafts are air-conditioned and fully equipped for IFR Operations.

Other Attractions

Introductory flying lessons at a nominal rate of Dhs: 125.00 is avalilable. We also provide
pleasure flying around Fujairah for three people for Dhs: 200.00.
As far as hiring of aircraft is concerned, Private pilots with U.A.E license can hire a
Cessna-172 for Dhs: 360.00 per hour. Pilot shop items are available with us for
competitive rates.
